Intro to Waitlists

Waitlists are useful for both patients and providers. If a patient cancels an appointment, a provider can make that slot available for patients who would like to take that slot if it is earlier than one that they have already scheduled.

Waitlists are created and configured by admins in the Tendo Admin app, and providers can manage patients on their waitlists in the Provider app. Patients can sign up for those waitlists in the Patient Care Journey app.

For Waitlists to work, your healthcare organization must opt into using the Provider app.
